The Zebra chair, designed by Studio Ferrante Design, is a good example of what we call contemporary furniture and can perfectly be used either indoors or outdoors. The design of this small armchair is simple, linear and clean. Architect and designer Sabino Ferrante has used the welding process to connect slender metal profiles (tubular and grille) in order to construct the Zebra chair.

Its perforations “light” with rhomboidal mesh, and especially the inclinations of its profiles, have suggested the name Zebra” says Ferrante when we asked him on how he came up with this name for his creation. The chromatic panel of the Zebra chair is endless because it can be colored with thermosetting powder lacquers or with the cataphoresis treatment and painted in polyester powder, but also simply in chromed steel.

Zebra chair entered on the shortlist of the best 25 finalists in the competition “Only for Woman” 2010 and it was published by Promote Design and Logo Fausto Lupetti Editore in the book “Design For 2013”.
