As Art Basel and Design Miami/Basel 2013 still running, we found out that designer Piet Hein Eek had a cooperation with Ruinart, the world’s oldest champagne house, and the result is extremely beautiful.

Piet Hein Eek built a wooden, five metres high “Arc de Triomphe de Ruinart”. The monumental wooden sculpture is filled with 250 bottles of champagne. For the design and champagne lovers, single bottles packed in wooden boxes designed by Piet Hein Eek, can be bought directly on site.
